I'm writting this letter on behalf of my older sister Lori Burgess.I wrote a very similar letter on 10/28/09.I prayed i would never have to send another.My sister injured her back and was forced to stop working.She is on workman's comp.She had to have surgery on her back due to an injury at work.And developed a blood clot in her lung.They gave her some blood thinner in pills and shots and sent her home.That was on 1/4/2010.She has not really seen a doctor scince!!The doctor told her it was very important to keep track of her blood count and get her blood work done.She can not seem to get anyone to do her blood work.She seems to have trouble alot of the time she fills scripts.She is even having trouble getting seen at the ER.Noone wants to touch her because it envolves workmans comp.Im not sure if its her workmans comp.Insurance co.MO Comference Home & Trust Insurance Fund....Or her Workmans comp agent Lue Luke...Or maybe his boss..Not sure ,dont really care who approves what..as long as it getts approve and my sister can get the help she needs.She has a blood clot in her lung due to the surgery she had.And we are not sure if its gone.If the blood thinner is working.Now she is having bad head aches and a few other problems.We are not sure what is going on with her..And that is the problem....Please someone ,anyone make a call..send a fax,write an e-mail..Do what needs to be done to get her better and up on her feet again..I dont want to see her die because she couldnt get workmans comp to aprove medical treatment.She has even tried offering to pay the bill herself and cant do that...Noone will work with her period..her hands are tied till someone approves her treatment..She is currently taking 5mg. of Cumadin twice a day and 100/1ml of Lovenox twice a day threw a shot in her tummy..She is having a hard enough time going threw all this without bneing made to jump threw hoops to get the medical help she needs....Im not sure if any of this is safe..The blood thinner thing sounds kinda fishy..we have lotts of questions and cant even consult a doctor until this is setteled..so you can understand my urgency and disapointment..So if you cant help please send this to someone that can.....Poor Lori has been driving back and forth from doctors in Spingfeild and Rolla and bouncing all over... only to hit a brick wall...and literally be turned away...Please Someone help us...We are getting desperate!!!! what is the most a california wrker can get in a settlment if they been injured to where they can never work agian at age 53 I had surgery and can never work agian from broken disk 3 of them
